The Oxford Cheese Company, located in the Covered Market are the sole producers of Oxford Blue. First introduced in 1995, The Oxford Cheese Company have picked up numerous awards for their semi soft blue cheese. The managing director Baron Robert Pouget has also expanded the company by producing chutneys and sauces as well.
Aldens family run butchers have been supplying caterers and the public in Oxford for more than seven generations. Aldens also operates ‘meat master’, a shop on the premises selling meat to the public at trade prices from local farms. The chickens come from Sheep Grove Farm in Lambourne, Berkshire, family run and with chickens being between 55-70 days from hatching to the table.
