Boutique hotel in Oxford
You’ll be astonished by how much there is to do in Oxford. There’s those beautiful colleges to visit of course – from the gothic splendour of New College to the absolute beauty of Magdalen – and there’s the River Cherwell, where you punt to your heart’s content. Take an open top bus ride and listen to the history of this city, or just walk and walk and discover its gems that way.
You’ll soon realise that Oxford offers more than a plethora of students. Tasteful cafes and bistros line the streets, which are full of desirable – and very busy – shops. Antique dealers nestle with treasure filled bookshops, and clubs and music venues like the Carling Academy and Park End offer party animals the chance to let their hair down.
Mal Oxford is the perfect place to explore all of Oxford. Situated right in the centre, you can wander off to the famous Ashmolean Museum or check out the Harry Potter trail (the Bodleian Library’s Radcliffe Camera doubled as Hogwarts Library in the films). A weekend just won’t be long enough to discover everything this very special city has to offer – and that’s without taking a day trips to Bicester Village designer shopping outlet or Blenheim Castle in Woodstock.
